Andrea Walker, MSW, LCSW/LICSW, RPT-S


Andrea Walker, MSW, LCSW/LICSW, RPT-S, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. She specializes in individual and family therapy with children, adolescents, and adults.

Ms. Walker has experience with a variety of challenge areas including anxiety, depression, adjustment, trauma, neglect and emotional abuse victims and sexual abuse victims, self-harm behaviors, assisting children affected by divorce, personality disorders, and relationship issues.

Ms. Walker’s specialties include trauma work utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral (TF-CBT), and Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking TF-CBT. She also provides Sand Tray Therapy for adults and adolescents which provides a unique and relaxed approach when working on intense personal issues, trauma, and relationship concerns. She has significant experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), both in group and individual settings with a focus on teaching healthy coping skills, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Ms. Walker specializes in directive and non-directive Play Therapy techniques and enjoys developing creative interventions tailored to meet individual needs, utilizing Child Centered, Adlerian, and Experiential Play Therapies. She earned her RPT-S credential (Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor) and is dedicated to helping people find ways to communicate and heal in a safe environment.

Ms. Walker completed her undergraduate degree at Boise State University in Boise, ID and her Master’s degree at Portland State University, Portland, OR. She offers supervision to professionals seeking licensure, internships, and certifications.
